I think the Opinion might be onto something. Reddit is a particularly conforming model of social media. The karma and the community moderation creates incentives to play by the rules.

But, the latter two points aren't really about Reddit or training data at all. They're about model alignment and social epistemology. Much broader issues. It just feels disjointed.

Looks at first graph. It's SWE-Bench Verified. A benchmark Open-AI stopped using two months ago due to contamination.

Doesn't look to promising. Is there any reason to consider Mistral other than it's not US?
