I believe they feel that their ideology is the ultimate force for positive change, and they become so lost in it that they are willing to do objectively wrong things under the rationalization that they're nuetralizing a threat to the idealogy.

Yeah I've seen a lot of people who seem to believe that the prompts they give ChatGPT aren't being cataloged and saved when they certainly are.
It sends every prompt you give it to a server, by design it has to as the model is far too computationally expensive to run locally.

Because young people don't die often, the requirement to be a "leading cause" isn't very high. According to the article Covid ranks 8th in causes of death with about 1,300 deaths in the 0-19 age range last year.
Not saying it isn't an issue, that's still 1,300 dead kids, but the headline seems (to me, at least) a bit sensationalized.

Not only is "plenty" not an objective quantity, but even an objectively large quantity is irrelevant if it's not a large percentage of the whole. 100k geniuses with addiction problems wouldn't disprove the rule if there are 1b people with addiction problems who are of below average intelligence.

A genius addict disproves the broader claim no more than does "it was cold today, therefore global warming is a hoax". The rule can be true yet still have notable exceptions throughout history.
You must be misremembering the price disparity. A quick Google shows that Switzerland is home to "the most expensive big Mac in the world"[1] at 6.50CHF. Almost double the US's average of $3.99.

Society doesn't need to change just because you don't like this specific sub-genre of joke. Romantic partnership, and subsequent occasional annoyance with said partner, is an almost universally shared human experience.
I imagine what they mean is that any time a politician speaks, they must adjust what they say to agree with core voter demographic if they want re-election. Perhaps if they spoke privately they could concede on certain topics and reach a middle ground, then plan a way for each to explain the compromise to their voters.
In a public forum people would likely view the compromise as one or both politicians "losing" and a mixture of ego and fear of not getting re-elected would prevent either party from giving ground and taking more measured approach.

Even without those arrows it seems very intuitive. It's just a subsection of the dpad with each button being an image that represents itself.

If I sign an employment contract I've likely already left a job for the sole reason of taking the job for which I've signed the employment contract. At the very least it seems to me as if ~2-4 weeks of the employees previous salary was lost when it could have been avoided.
Windows 11 is truly awful. Perhaps windows has always been a clunky mess and I din't quite realize it until I started using MacOS professionally, but I can hardly stand it. That said, I remember feeling Windows 10 was a notable degradation of UX, and Windows 11 only doubled down on that. Windows 7 is the last MS OS that I have any fond memories of, if it was announced that Windows 12 would be designed to more closely resemble that then I would seriously consider buying another Windows machine, until then I'll stick with my Macbook.
