It can, until the extension developer receives a tempting offer for it, as has happened countless times

Analysis paralysis is very cruel. Many of my side projects died because of this, or just got stuck in development hell, even while interest was high.

Looking back, some would have made good money if I had just released them

Quick warning to people wanting to take a look: This code is part of a famous code leak that happened 12 years ago, in which large portions (a 200mb rar file) of the Windows NT/2000 source code found its way to the internet thanks to a company named Mainsoft being hacked. You'll notice that there's a bunch of .eml files.

There's actual kernel code in here, reading this code could most likely prevent from working on WINE or ReactOS and who knows what else could apply under your jurisdiction.

It's funny that his code is right there for us to see, but we shouldn't see it!

Looks like it is going to happen next.

From the post:

Godot community keeps growing and users keep producing more assets, scripts, modules, etc. we are in need of an unified platform for sharing them. As such, we will be working towards having an asset sharing platform (website + REST API + Godot integration) for 2.1. The built-in platform will be free (it will be integrated with GitHub), but we will make sure that the REST API is well defined so anyone can make a commercial asset sharing platform and integrate it with Godot.

SEEKING WORK - Argentina

My name is Victor, a 31 year old developer living in Argentina.

I'm a generalist developer and has been for over 13+ years now, officially (career-wise) working as a frontend and backend developer with PHP, MySQL, HTML, JS, etc.

Unofficially, but decent: Android apps (native and web based), C#, Python, PostgreSQL, GIS and a bit of 3D development (Unity and WebGL). I also enjoy setting up and managing servers.

My timezone is beautifully aligned with most of the US and my starting rates would make patio11 cringe.

I'm looking for small gigs at the moment. I can whip up small prototypes and MVP's and I can do quick experiments with ease.

You may contact me at ar_freelancer AT yahoo.com

Thanks for the opportunity!

Buenos Aires, Argentina. Looking to freelance with clients all over the world, or an on-site job in the city.

Stack: I'm a generalist developer for over 13+ years, officially (career-wise) working as a frontend and backend developer with PHP, MySQL, HTML, Javascript. Unofficially but decent: C#, Python, PostgreSQL, Android, GIS and a bit of 3D development (Unity and WebGL). I also enjoy setting up and manage servers.

Resume: Upon request. Previous employers include my country's government, a large mobile gaming company, high-traffic websites and credit report providers with reasonably large databases.

My timezone is beautifully aligned with most of the US and I'm offering attractive rates that would make patio11 cringe. They start from $15/h for HN'ers, depending on commitment.

Thanks!

This comes from a company that puts #FFF7ED as a background color on the SERP ads so that people with flat screens will not see it from certain angles and believe they are search results.

They most certainly possess the capability of doing a lot of A/B testing due to their immense volume, but I wouldn't go as far as to call it an attempt to psychologically manipulate people.

Really cool project! I always wanted this but never got around to actually develop anything or find a good match.

I must say I'm a bit conflicted about the interface of the demo, I feel some of these icons are really old. Not a big issue though.

I'd be glad to test it out and send you some feedback or a pull request.

I just want to mention that Cron archiving really does wonders for performance.

I've got a site that is receiving nearly 10,000 daily uniques since Google's last [panda|penguin|whatever] update in May, and while Piwik's performance was not terrible, setting up the cron a few weeks ago made the whole experience very snappy.

Thank you for your work halfdan!
