So I am not sure what this means to the end user but as another reader pointed out, Google and other companies in future could use .Net/C# as part of their mobile architecture. You could host .net sites on OSX or Linux, test them on a Mac. What else?
What's a sure way of determining that the clicks are not coming from a proxy? I have to launch an online campaign. There are some many services that provide a high anonymous proxy and sometimes services like http://www.ip.cc/check-proxy-basic.php report a real ip as proxy. So how do I distinguish real clicks from fake users. During the signup, I can only collect Name and Email.

Thanks for the inputs. I am almost sure the ads are from direct ad sales and the site has just 4-5 ads listed. It's a PR5 site, good user-generated content, updated daily without fail.
