I've got the exact same issue : everything set in English but Google still show me results in French. Even going into advanced search and forcing it to show only results in English doesn't work... And I'm not even talking about the crappy results. 2026 is going to be the year I'm leaving Google for good.

Is there a way to contact someone at Algolia? Or @dang maybe?

The location shown for a french city is always "Arrondissement de <city>" except for Paris.

Neither do I and I'm also french. I've checked on the french wiktionary[1] and in fact that's a real french saying. But I've never heard someone say this in my all life.

Reading about Delphi brings back some fond memories about Delphi 6 and using the JEDI JCL / JVCL and Inno Setup for the installation and upgrade process. Spent a couple of years building a software for editing and synchronizing configuration files (for a specific piece of hardware) with Palm Pilot devices. Good old time.

It is not related to squashing or not. One of the main rule when using git (or any other VCS I guess) is that each commit should be atomic.

IMO squashing commits is something that you should do locally, not remotely. For example I'm currently debugging a fairly large C application on an embedded system. Each bug has it's own branch. When debugging / testing / trying to fix it I tend to do a lot of commits. When the bug is fixed I do an interactive rebase to pick / drop / squash commits in order to have only a clean one at the end (and then push it).
