This site: https://www.topresume.com/

Will show you how an ATS (Applicant Tracking System) will view your resume, including how much management experience it thinks you have. It can take a few hours to get a response, but it's the only site I've found with a free ATS evaluation.

I've also been using these sites to find issues with my resume and they provide instant responses:

https://app.tealhq.com/home - 15 free AI generated achievements and a lot of the feedback is only available if you pay, but it still highlights where the issues are.

https://resumeworded.com/ - limit of 6 free uploads, and 2 credits with their Magic Write AI

Meta have emailed saying they have a "legal basis called legitimate interests for using your information to develop and improve AI"

They provide a link to a form to object to this processing where you can provide answers to the following two questions:

Please tell us how this processing impacts you. (Required)

Please provide any additional information that could help us review your objection. (Optional)

On what grounds can I object?

No_color 4 years ago

I just use a bash alias for striping colors:

     alias stripcolors=' sed -r "s/\x1B\[([0-9]{1,2}(;[0-9]{1,2})?)?[mGK]//g"'
HN was down 5 years ago

Does that mean it might get more performant? On my mobile the time it takes seems to scale with the number of posts on the page, not the number of posts it actually collapses

Web Monetization 6 years ago

There's a "Use <MY_MOBILE_NETWORK> billing" option in the Google Play App's Payment Method settings on my Android phone. I'm in the UK. (I haven't used it so I don't know how it works)

That makes sense and is a valid reason to allow removing 2FA without having your (lost) 2FA. However there's still the fact that there was no notification that it was removed.

You are probably right but I wouldn't discount the keybase server/client IP and user base completely. If Zoom could use keybase for identity verification and adding participants to a call via social graph connections of everyone on the call that could radically improve the UX of onboarding and securing a meeting to only approved participants.

There's 3 tweets in that thread:

It is disappointing, but not really unexpected, to see this take on the epidemic simulation code release: https://lockdownsceptics.org/code-review-of-fergusons-model/ If we accept it at face value, we have a retired software engineer making the case that non-determinism in a simulation shows incompetence. I am all \

for deterministic-everything, but issues with random seeds and parallel floating point reductions are extremely widespread, and a great deal of science gets done with non-deterministic simulations. Heck, professional software engineering struggles mightily with just making \

completely reproducable builds. I take no position on the mechanics of the simulation or the conclusions drawn from the runs, but implicitly encouraging scientists to keep their code secret if it isn't "perfect" is damaging.

I think om2 means this from the article:

"seven days of Safari use without user interaction on the site"

It's not immediately obvious the way it's phrased but they couldn't be calendar days if there are days you don't use Safari; it's only counting a day as one where Safari is used and you don't visit the site.
