Hello,
I wouldn't suggest us for 3D rendering or games tbh, as it's react native like.
Our bundle size is pretty good.
We don't currently have web support but are investigating it.
Would you still be curious in checking it out?

No. Choose the other FAANG offer
What was your pay difference between the two?
I’d love nice things for taxes in the USA but the pay tends to be higher enough here to offset it for engineers.
I’m an engineering manager. I enjoy reading about how to be a better manager.
I’d probably still agree with your statement though. They also definitely don’t teach us how to manage.
I strongly disagree. It was way easier to reason about things pre hooks.
Hooks were the beginning of the end of my interest in React. Truly a terrible concept. Way to magic. Not overly aesthetic, not to mention the async programming techniques the js community has developed for over a decade all kinda break down with hooks.
You can’t even just keep using class based as they have no way to consume hooks.
Unit testing of hook based code is non existent IME. It’s some kinda funky E2E feeling test.
React was my favorite framework before. It’s really a shame.
Why not both
Agree. Content on Chinese tik Tok is very different.
Doctor’s borrowed the title from academics. They didn’t even have it first.
Latinx was invented by white people to alleviate their own guilt. You’re right it’s essentially colonialism.
You can’t remove gender from Latino languages… the entire language would need to be created from scratch.
So what’s the end game here, literally remove the ability to say anything negative about anyone?
It’s inherently not kind to say “I don’t think you’re smart” but do we really want to eliminate being able to say that? Are we all just going to be 100% nice to each other all the time and only say kind things about others.
I don’t think so. People do bad and stupid shit all the time. We should be able to express that.
An overused phrase but this is quite literally 1984.
Good idea. Let’s go beyond merely testing in prod
If you really hate it that much is management for you? I’d learn to get more comfortable with it.
Also it’s not fair to be mad at your coworkers cause you were underpaid. Be mad at the company or your bosses if anything.
“ I managed to tuck away very nicely“ There is a fine line between compartmentalization and repression.
Reminds me a bit of the old modest mouse song stars are projectors. That song had a related idea that our consciousness is in the cosmos and beamed down to us. Drugs could be interrupting that beam or something like you said. It’s an interesting thought.
You earned something more by not working for it? That’s a hot take
“Every organ is the most complicated organ”.
No, that’s blatantly untrue. The liver is one of the simpler ones as it’s all single cells, and the brain is definitely the most complex. I’ve never heard anyone say they are equally complex.
That doesn’t mean we understand everything about the liver, but we are hell of a lot closer than the brain.
That’s easy.
Sugar.
What’s pessimistic about thinking Elon wants more control than a board position would offer him?
The biggest use case for semantic html is accessibility imo. Given Aria tags are the main workhorse there, I say semantic html has failed to provide value there.
Given all the html created via a component like pseudo element, it further questions the value added imo.
Potentially unpopular opinion, but semantic HTML failed to adequately solve any problems it has set out to solve. Even selectors are better done via something like css modules anyway.
Sure the end compiled HTML is a mess, but that’s like complaining your bytecode or binary is messy. Who cares?
Long live div soup.
“Mornings are the best time to schedule interviews as both you and the interviewer are fresh in their heads and there is no mental fatigue.”
I get night owls generally get the short end of the stick. However, we are practically half the population. It’s a strange kind of irk to have someone tell me what hours I’m most productive at.
I honestly don’t want this. Each project having their own copy of the dependencies is a blessing.
Walmart employees make so little they are often eligible for food stamps.
Walmart knows and teaches employees how to apply.
What kind of free market is that? You shouldn’t be allowed to pay your employees so little that they are eligible for government benefits.
To me this issue seems like something that both political parties would take issue with.
