Ironic (at least to me) that trying to go to the URL results in a message that I am blocked because it thinks I'm a bot. I assume for the same reason I get that from the NYT (because I tend to use a VPN... horrors).

At least they are both consistent in that trying to sign up for a subscription leads to the same message.

Curious if anyone here has tried rosebud.ai for something similar. I looked into it, and it did appear to break it down into steps, but can't really produce anything that runs without upgrading to a paid tier.

Have a handicapped daughter who I can't share a hike with since wheelchairs and rugged mountain trails don't go together well. Something like this would make sharing the experience quite a bit better - particularly with AR to allow us both to experience together (VR being a bit restrictive to just the person viewing and not the others there).

Having done a couple indie games myself over the years, I think you're addressing many of the pain points of building such a game. However the REAL problem as an indie gamer is getting a marketing/get-the-word-out campaign such that said game produces enough income to cover the cost of making it.

Will you be adding a "marketing" add-on to this to help developers actually get their games noticed and played?

Pricing? I'd like to use something like this to do an animated version of one of my books, but I'd want to be able to add music and obviously voices. I don't need lip sync since I'm looking for more of a video of a scene, perhaps with a character or two in that scene but not actually trying to fully animate them.

To do that I figure I would need about 5-6 minutes of video per chapter (perhaps less with some looping), and the ability to DL the video or otherwise export it (assuming I can upload my other media into your Composite tool) to put on YT or the like. And would probably want to lose the watermark in that case as well.

One of the key insights presented is that "fine" in that time would more closely translate to "fee" in our current world. Basically a decent examination showing that folks were more "aware" of the impact of things than we've given them credit for.

Bloomberg - Had a subscription and saw the renewal coming up. Decided to cancel, but you can't do it yourself - you have to go through their service desk and of course they try five ways from Sunday to get you to reup with a cheaper plan (that then jumps to the full price after 1 to 3 months).

Spectrum (previously Time Warner Cable) - To cancel you need your account number (both the TW and the Spectrum ones for folks who were converted) and your PIN for each - which you likely setup only once and may well not have realized you needed since it's only for starting service and cancelling. Don't have them? You can't cancel. Let me emphasize that again, if you don't give them the right number they will continue to charge you until your credit card expires, and then send you to collections. I am fastidious about account info and had mine, but some of my neighbors were less so.

What I didn't see in this (and the couple others I've seen mentioned) is talking with more than one character in a scene, or having multiple scenes with the characters in different positions/poses/clothing.

My particular story has a number of folks with various handicaps (magical realism with a COA vibe), and trying to get an AI to do a reasonable character in a wheelchair is hard but doable, while amputees or folks with hearing aids is nigh on impossible.

To be fair that's probably more a "me" problem than a "you" problem...

So it sounds like I should "keep an eye" on this space and hopefully at some time in the future give this a try. Do you have any VN examples currently just to see where it's at?
