Cool concept. Wonder if he could write a script to land a reservation at Dorsia. I think that might be asking a bit much, even for a bot.

Stating the obvious, but there are MAJOR first amendment problems with trying to get ISP's to block porn sites by default. I don't see how something like this could come to a vote without major controversy. There is still such a thing as freedom of expression, last time I checked.
It's about bloody time.
First they came for A, and I did not speak because I was not A. Then they came for B, and I did not speak because I was not B. Then they came for C, and I did not speak because I was not C. Then they came for me, and there was no one left to speak for me.
Herbert West, MD, is doubtless all over this one.
That is such a fantastic idea! I enjoy browsing science papers on the internet, especially physics, so it is very cool concept to have a site where they are boiled down into non-specialist terms. Awesome.
I think one Herbert West, MD lately of Miskatonic University in Massachusetts would be particularly interested in this study.
I am more concerned with 2038, when the memory on time_t runs out. I plan to be stocking up on baked beans prior to then. :-)
Well I guess the guns and gates will still hold Nikita in. :(
Yet another giant intellect felled by the ignorant Athenian polity.
Stalin has always been under-rated in the United States. Truth was, he was a hero who helped to defeat the Nazis and Imperial Japan. But saying that undermines those who want Churchill and FDR to take all the credit.
Best of luck to Crash Override. You're the best!!
Pittsburgh has remade itself as a startup ecosystem going from a steel city to a IT startup hub. Could Detroit do the same I wonder. Manufacturing is not going to be what it used to be. Can Detroit take some of those empty buildings and turn them into startup incubators? I don't know. Maybe Enimem could invest in such a project. There is little Slim Shady could not do I should think. :-)
Meyer Wolfsheim would never hear of it. :-)
I have an uncle who is a deposed King of Nigeria who will solve this problem for you for a small deposit and your bank account information. :-)
Hunting Man-Bear-Pig is a profitable venture. Who knew!
does anyone have a start-up dedicated to solving this issue? something like an Initech for the 2038 bug? If not someone should.
Beg to differ. I prefer bone background with Silian Rail font.
Just as "equal time" for "Intelligent Design" theories is being proposed for teaching science in high school, it seems we ought to also give "equal time" for alternate theories of cosmology, including the Flat Earth theory. LOL.
They will take the soylent from his cold, dead hands! :-)
Good point. Positive feedback for aspiring programmers is good, but also constructive advice on improvement also is needed, or, else, as you say, if naive young people get to thinking they are the next Gates or Jobs or Zuckerberg, they might skip out on really trying to learn the fundamental skills that help to create such giants. Encouragement is always good, but a sense of realism is also helpful for helping folks to improve.
