yep, I agree with that. Which is why Im not crazy about people (like this author) who is discouraging millennials from even getting started. If you're in college, or just out of college, you have decades to figure out how to be able to retire. There's no need to just accept whatever happens, or to just assume people will figure out how to fund Social Security between now and then.
I wonder if the author would be ok if people spend $1 on a coffee a day from McDonalds or a gas station and save the other $4?
I always hate how people always jump to "but inflation..." or "12% is not realistic...". Ok, maybe 12% isn't reasonable and $1M won't be as much decades from now. But having $500k or $750k or however much you end up saving by saving a few bucks each day could still be a pretty good chunk of change when you are ready to retire! That's much more than $0! The earlier you start, let's say when you're 18 buying a $5 cup of coffee and not really thinking about retirement, gives you more time to build wealth when you're ready to retire.
As more people start to reach retirement age, there's going to be a lot of people surprised to realize they can't afford to retire. With few companies offering pensions and some uncertainty about social security with Baby Boomers reaching retirement age, millennials better start thinking about how they can retire as soon as possible. Saving a few bucks each day (whether it is by giving up fancy coffee or something else) can be a great way to get started!
I've had a similar experience with AHA. Although when I did that, it was a different email address, so maybe it's better now.

I built https://cocoa.dog recently. The idea is that you can send somebody random pictures of dogs with a message. Kinda like the Goats thing awhile back.
I mostly built it just to get some experience building something using Stripe and was not really intended to make a huge amount of money. But Im not sure if anybody has really used it. Im guessing the novelty of sending people pictures of things from a random number has worn off.
They have a left wing biased, but it gets blown way out of proportion. ESPN's biggest problem is exactly what this article is talking about. They have spent so much money on TV rights, that it causes price of getting cable to go up and more people are cutting the cord because of that (not because they are liberal)
Im not sure. I remember reading an article about it awhile back and wondered if they would get re-elected, though I cannot find that article at the moment. I believe it was to approve additional funds for the Braves new stadium. If I remember right, they kept anybody who was against the deal from speaking about it at the meeting. There was a big scene and they went ahead and voted for the additional funding.
Federal Government should not be allowed to tell cities how to spend their money, but something needs to be done what devinhelton said. Look up Atlanta about their stadium deals for the Falcons and Braves. The City Council basically ignored the citizens completely and went ahead to spend millions to replace 2 stadiums that really wasn't that old to begin with.

The only odd thing for me was it got stuck at a loading screen when I was redirected to my account page. Other than that, I didnt have any problems.
Also it would be nice if Ally was a bank you could link directly with... but I understand if there is some technical issues that prevent certain banks from being able to link automatically.
This seems awesome to me! Ive had a HSA qualifying health care plan for awhile now, but never really found a bank that had an account without having to pay a monthly fee. Good luck guys!

That's part of my frustration at my current job. Being having to work on different projects allows things like reliability and performance issues to get ignored.
In a day, it's not unusual I work on issues for 2 different projects and have to troubleshoot a Tier 2 issue for a couple of other projects.
Your second paragraph seems accurate. My friends are ex co-workers that moved on to much larger companies.
I think I would go with the better company. Im not sure I would want to be in charge of a team when you might not see eye to eye with your bosses.
I either heard about this article or read this article a few days ago... Which got me to thinking, did people actually think the 5 second rule was a real thing?
Everybody who watches this show knows the Sharks can pull out of the deal later on. I enjoy the show, even though I realize a lot of it has to be staged. However, I don't like how they force the people to make a decision within minutes, but the Sharks can research the product some later and pull out if they want to.

I like Notes in iOS/macOS. I really like having it on my phone and mac. I would like it if it was markdown or something to style them more, but the updates they released in the past year is an improvement.
Im glad you mentioned math formulas. One thing I can't do, that would be nice to do in Notes is someway to do math. I like to calculate what each contestant should bet for Final Jeopardy! and it's hard to do it in Notes.
