All this talk on why mass immigration didn't work. But never says that Europe is the reason all those immigrates showed up. Europe's policies supported US and Israeli wars that created those mass migrations. So now Europe is on the hook for the results of those policies.
So grow up and take ownership.

This is a nice story and how it played out is great for Switzerland. But the ways listed on how to fix it, wouldn't work in the US. See companies in the US have already worked around what worked for Switzerland.
The different levels of governments in the US are corrupt. Sometimes from town all the way up to Federal. Actually its definitely completly corrupt at the Federal level. A politician or Judge has already been bought to make sure a case like the Swisscom lost. Would never happen here.
So before we have any progress in really any industry in the US. We need to desperately clean house with our politicians, attorney generals and judges.
The stock market is a very large Ponzi scheme. 401Ks are indexed Ponzi schemes. Once the ultra wealthy can disconnect their wealth from any one country, using crypto tokens. The stock market and 401Ks will probably crash. You usually want to do this on a generation that has no real voting block. So it will probably happen when GenX starts retiring.
Again this is different in a Capitalists society vs a Socialist one.
In a Capitalists society everyone is pitted against each other trying to out compete the other at whatever the cost. Safety in this environment is thought of at the end after a lot of suffering because one group has to win it all. Damages can externalized.
In a Socialist society we build basic rules and we compete within them. Thinking of safety as we build something and refining those rules as we build it because at the end, we are all affected by it and get to benefit from it.
I think this isn't about guns but more about seeing and controlling what people are printing. Guns is just the excuse to monitor.

I think the reason tech didn't help productivity until the late 90s is pretty obvious. The internet was missing. Computers needed the internet to make them useful to everyone. So the question should be.

I started my programming journey with VB6. Ruby reminds me of Visual Basic. But its never evolved past that. Python became popular because it was a scripting language that had classes and a nice built out framework of features. But it has a god awful syntax and should never be used for a large project. Also their package management is a dumpster fire.
This brings me to C#. At .NET 10 there will be another option then python. .NET 10 brings the ability to run C# script files without the need for a proj file or a main method. This will bring the full .NET Framework and NUGET eco system with it. I can't wait to replace all my python scripts with this.

Meta makes 95%+ of its revenue on their ads. Whats crazy is that they own the platforms that most of their ads run on. Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, etc. How do we know they're not fudging the stats on the ads? They're already known not to be trusted. How has a third party Ad Verification system not popped up by now. Not for just Meta but for all Ad networks.

I can't believe that Typeform is the standard in the industry. Is it me or does the whole product have a constant delay to the UI? Also the form building part seems really bad. Nothing is intuitive. Not a fan of one question per page. Also why is it so hard to add multiple questions per page. I had to Google how to do that just to find the option.
This is coming from the US. They're just using Germany as their proxy to go after China. This whole mess with tying ourselves to Israel has revealed a lot of the countries that just act like proxies for US policies.
When its coming from the US, that means its coming from the corporations that control the US. So this is actually coming from US companies doing AI trying to minimize China's AI.
