No, not because of that. In case you did not know, the companies are obligated to pay H1b employees more than the prevailing wage for that position in that county. This is something controlled by the Department of Labor.

I am not sure how it is not relevant. Tmobile is owned by Deutsche Telekom, a German company. T Mobile operates in the US and many other countries. If this offer goes through, T mobile US will be owned by Free, a French company. But it will continue to operate in the US.

This is fantastic. I've used python mechanize in some very large projects and it was very frustrating - their lack of documentation and, well, the fact that it's complete "abandonware".

This is a different lifestyle choice. I have many friends who could more than easily afford a car (or two), but they choose not to have one - the public transportation system is more than enough for them.

Also, I live in Serbia, and honestly even we don't wait "weeks or months" for non-emergency issues. As someone who has lived in the US as well, I've actually waited longer in the US hospital than in the Serbian one. I'm really not sure where that stereotype of "you have to wait months for surgery in Europe" comes from.

Uh, don't remind me of H-1B. I am currently on F1 working as a software developer for a Fortune 500 company (with work permit / OPT), and my consulting agency said they'll apply for a H-1B visa for me, so I was very happy.

Turns out, they actually tried to extend my work permit (which they couldn't in my case since I didn't actually graduate with CSci degree) and now I have my work permit expiring in July, and not sure if I'll be able to stay in the country because I'm not sure if H-1B visa will arrive in time.

I have generally been using Google Drive anyway, but after what this person did to my country as well, I am not going to support a company that supports her.

I don't see how establishing your company in a country with a lower tax rate as opposed to some other country can be considered as tax "evasion".
