In the responses api docs you can see new responses api supports reasoning summary as input and a reasoning summary in the output also.

So then the question becomes... Why is nobody talking about it?

I can but then it will lose the very thing that makes it really attractive. Being managed. If I have to manage I rather use a normal postgres server
