Don't want to be too harsh, but why would people use this over Twitter or FB status updates? I think the biggest weakness here is that the other users are people I have no connection to whatsoever. What was your reasoning that this would take off, and was there any niche you had in mind?

Good stuff, but the section on music is extremely misleading. Some of the numbers provided I think are actually false. I completed an industry report for record labels using IBIS and Factset. If anything, the music industry has plateaued after looking at SEC filings of the Big 4.

Definitely plan on swing trading at IPO...no plans to keep in long-portfolio...yet. Will get back to you when I review prospectus.

Try reports from IBIS, FactSet, etc. They helped me out a lot when writing pitchbooks/models. Of course, with a somewhat undeveloped market like that, however, it'll be hard, but try one of those dbs. Do you have access to any of those?

They were competing in a pretty saturated space(hair metal). Fan base mattered significantly more for this than something novel like 'grunge,' but I'd still say it was solely their songwriting that pulled them through (Sweet Child O' Mine, Paradise City).

That should be relatively easy, simply search guru.com or elance.com and find a freelancer or online services vendor. You can search the appropriate functional area for your needs, compare pricing options, and view past samples of work that freelancers have in their profile.
