Forgot about that, as I'm using Chromium 6 on a daily basis.
The author answered to some criticism: "It requires Chrome because the other browsers aren't fast enough yet. In some months hopefully it will run fast properly in all browsers (which is not exactly what happens with graphic cards requirements).
I've changed it so it uses an .ogg instead of an .mp3. Albeit much slower, it should now also run in Firefox and Opera."

I agree with the first part, but how would several iPhone headlines sound if you break em down? Just read several numbers more thoroughly. Financial Q4/Q1 2009 approx. 30% down. Financial Q2 2008/Q2 2009 up 123% with 85 added countries...

You should remeber that these numbers are only the selling numbers of the US. I think the numbers from Europe will easily add up 1 Million additional phones. And with the HTC Magic (already played with it :)) coming to Europe in the next days in much more countries and further releases in the coming weeks there will soon be a much higher install base...

Dito and that they come up with a hardware/feature monster instead of fixing their broken ecosystem shows that they really don't know how they should compete in the future with all the Android phones and the iPhone.

They switched some years ago for the exact same reasons they mention now from Mac to Windows PCs.
26% and 20% were US figures, that was a little mixed up I think - sorry. The rest was global.
Apple sold 6 Mio. iPhones till June and the whole smartphone market is about 300 mio. phones, that's 2%.
The percentages mentioned on Techcrunch and all the other blogs mention selling figures per quarter. e.g. 35,522,360 smartphones sold in Q4 and 2,320,840 iPhones that means only 6,5% in this quarter and not in the whole market. I think it was 26% in Q1 2008 and 19% in Q2 2008 but as you see their market share is still only approximately 2% of all smartphones.
They have a 6,5% share in Q4 and not overall, basically all those numbers out there only mention quarters and not overall market shares and that's very misleading. I have seen this on Techcrunch and many other blogs, where they put out 20% market share for the iPhone but if you consider there to be some 300 Mio. smartphones out there you get the real numbers ;).
Basically you should use mod_wsgi these days...
Berlin is really something to consider if you start in Europe... ;)
