I'm surprised that there are people out there who don't know the "boy scout" rule yet.

Happy to see these "fundamentals" being still spread around

There are so many benefits around having a personal blog that I'm surprised about reading all these negative comments.

I started blogging about tech and security when I was 13/14 years old in my native language. Then, when I felt more mature, I switched to a new blog where English was the main language. I started improving my language skills, getting some donation from kind strangers for my blog posts and using it as a self-branding forever running-side project.

Now, 20 years later I still have my personal blog and I still write about tech, but only recently I created some "personal related" tabs, like the "/now" page, enriching it every month or having a more personal about page. Why? Because I like going to a blog a see that behind that address there is a real person with emotions and dreams, it's like entering in their home and have a look around.

About LLM, I don't care if they scrape my blog, I use LLMs every day, and if some stuff I write helps to enrich an LLM with a positive impact I would be more than happy to let it happens, the more we write, the less fake-news and low-quality content would ingest and used.

Switched to https://languagetool.org/ and I'm super happy about it.

I have been using this way of blogging for years now and it works perfectly.

I didn't know about Cloudflare pages, thanks for sharing!

I use Jekyll, Github pages and Cloudflare. I use hackmd for editing but Obsidian will work as well.

So did they just discover pair programming? :D

Also, I'm reading lots of comments that are pointing out that they don't like doing pair programming because they do it wrongly.

Agree, I spoke with some taxi drivers who were there just for the summer season and they told me that they've been doing that every year, sharing a small flat with other taxi drivers/workers to save money and to earn enough to live the rest of the year back in their towns.

In Italy washing the coffee pot with detergent is considered a sin. The "oily" that you describe gives a better taste, and it's something that every "nonna"(grandmother) teaches you, if you want to clean your coffee pot just put it under hot water and brush it with your fingers, that's it.

Pretty common if you ask me. Especially, if you work in companies where pair programming is a thing, you do TDD (or at least write tests), have feature toggles, and a CI/CD pipeline in place.

I'm a happy Obsidian user too, it's probably the application I use the most. The amount of plugins available is incredible (my favs: Excalidraw and Calendar, Obsidian Git)

In my experience, years of professional experience != Seniority

You could have been for 18years in a company where you were the senior just because you were the only one who knew how the old monolite work. You could have been for 18years in a company without knowing more than what you were just doing. This just to say that the seniority it's not something you obtain with your years but with the experiences and situations you find yourself in and especially what do you learn from them.

I didn't earn that much, just a bunch of euros thanks to some donations (thank you!)

But the most important things I've gotten from it was:

- Improve my written english skill (I'm not a native english speaker)

- Learn how to put my thoughts down, it made me to learn more about a specific topic

- Share my thoughts with clients and colleagues, if I need to say something multiple times it's really efficient since you can just send a link to them.

- Could have been helpful for my CV but I've never had any feedback for it during my interviews

Exactly, before Monterey you could at least use the Bluetooth Explorer to turn this switch off but now everything seem not working anymore. I tried Bluetooth Explorer old version and they don't have any effect on the system. It's crazy I can't have high quality audio meanwhile on call for no reasons.
