The way to look at is that actively managed funds often define their risk profile so that LPs can correctly allocate their money in the risk buckets they are searching for.

Incredibly petty.
Essentially tracking stock is a claim on the results of the income statement (revenues & expenses) for VMWare, whereas normal common stock is a claim on the income statement as well as the balance sheet (assets & liabilities).
Another way to think about it is that ETFs are tracking stocks. You do not have claim on the underlying stocks that the EFT holds, you only have claim to the return that holding those stocks would produce.
You realize you're promoting it on HN now right?
I'll be attending from Emory University in Atlanta. I don't know any local developers and so I'll be looking for a team to join. If anyone wants to put together an HN team my email is denverrayburn(at)gmail(dot)com.
Will this be like a normal startup weekend where the teams form there, or will people already have their teams together?
Hey everyone, I'd love any feedback for the site that you can provide. We had our soft launch last month and have been working to grow out user base. Any feedback or marketing ideas are appreciated!
I hope the App Store reviewers look over the Safari app. You can do the same thing, but there's no default safe search!! Scandalous!
Emory University is also in Atlanta. Definitely some smart people there.
I went to the direct link without deleting the old app, and it worked for me.
I'm getting the same thing.
That's a totally fair assessment. We are trying to find the perfect mix between enough browsing space vs being able to see the poster fully.
Hey guys this is my first thread on HN, but I thought I would share my latest adventure, PosterFuse.com. PosterFuse allows users to create a collage of their instagram and Facebook photos which can be turned into a physical poster, or a Facebook cover photo.
I would love feedback on the idea / design / anything. Thanks!
I signed up for filepicker a few days ago, and when I saw this topic I was afraid free would be gone, but I actually really like the changes, and I had the exact same feeling. I calculated it out, and I hope I can afford to pay for the $99/mo in the future.
It really bothers me how the e and the b overlap more than the other letters overlap.
