It's funny the way things have gone. Vietnam is supposed to be a communist country. The Vietnamese people are some of the greediest nationalities I have ever come across and the government officials and politicians are the greediest.

The subsidies for photovoltaic installations were such that people would buy a solar panel, which would then qualify them for getting "net metering". They would then buy a gas generator and drive the meter backwards, and make enough money to pay for the generator, gasoline, the disconnected solar panel, and a tidy profit.

The original article in the intercept noted that the Google e-mails they had obtained showed that it was Satellite-based WAMI - which would sort of be a big deal..... AKA - who needs solar powered High Altitude Long Endurance (HALE) drone planes, blimps or aerostats to deploy Wide Area Persistent Surveillance when you can just put WAMI on Micro-sats that never come down and never blink?

So, I am assuming that the uptick in the volume of varroa during the August-September time frame might be because of the transition of the summer worker bee to the winter worker bee. The winter bee tends to have more fat, at least that is what I have read. Therefore, there might even be a correlation between the uptick during this time due to the bees developing more fat for the over wintering of the hive and a larger increase of the mite? Could this contribute to less ‘over wintering bees’ and hence the downfall of the hive due to lack of warmth?
