< Last I checked, in far too many cases, the legal definition of rape literally makes it a crime that cannot be committed by a woman. Or by anybody, unfortunately. But this is also the institution never wanting to be accountable for its errors. These people place is a jail. Will see if they consent to have sex with their own prison guard.

But that's not peer to peer. And people compare bitcoin/ ethereum to gold, but you can't really exchange ethereum without a centralised authority when you use POS. If these people refuse to process your payment, there is not much you can do about it.

Math cheatsheet made by others are not very useful. When it's not about a large public API it doesn't really make sense. People also forget that most theorems/formulas have slight modifications that are very useful but make these kind of enterprise very difficult.

the simple truth of the matter is that regular kernel developers continue to insert bugs at such a rate that there should be little need for malicious actors to add more.

As an "average" dev I think the conclusion is totally unfair. Comparing a non intentional bug with intentional one(aka malware). I think Principle should matter and these people they violated the rules. And they should be morally shamed and legally sued. I certainly don't want to be mixed with them. Whatever people think of the quality of my code.

I understand that's a lot of work and just from a code quality prospective that's the same. But for the community of millions open source projects that's a terrible message to send.

I'm still gonna say congratulation!!! But I think executing a fairly "easy" project such as hacker news for X. And not providing key (UI) features of hackernews seems a bit misleading. Specifically presenting to an audience of software engineers.

People should be able to connect from their car I guess. I'm not sure it would work as is. HN would. It's just the beginning, post the update.

US is still in Irak now... It's really not hard to find where the US is military active.

The US jail population is 2 M, China, 1.5 M. It's little stuff like this that make the US look worse than China.

Be sure that once China is finished killing Uyghur they will say that's an old story like ... hum ... the US. So yeah continue justify crimes, just remember one day, it could be your turn.

So if only now matter you mean that nobody should pay their debt? Cause i know a country who goes to extreme length to get back his money... So which was in it? Both ways i guess.

By the way if you interested the US is STILL in Irak, Donald Trump PARDON the CEO of Blackwater, US is supporting the war in Yemen, look it up it goes on and on....

So you think showing NO proof is better? It's real world we are talking about. The reason backpage and co got busted by the FBI is because of the amount of shady activity. And pornhub is definitely hight on the list of shady sites. Also a lot porn site are just own by porn company so they already have the contracts. Just don't be surprise when you see FBI indictments.

What you are saying is factually wrong. If I can sue a mall security for something. I should be able to sue a police officer for the same. The job of the defendant doesn't change the status of the charge/request. Most public servant don't work as a spy imbedded in Russia.

I think it's more about finding the right middle ground than anything else. So expanding is good if people are still responsible in a way.

I agree that a lot of time the institution are liable (mostly for ordering people to achieve impossible target).
