How timely, I'm writing this from a Pixel 10 Pro Fold I bought in January.

Last night I opened it to find the inside screen having dead pixels in the center by the bend.

I love foldable phones. I use it all the time in both modes, but now I'm currently procrastinating looking up my best buy warranty plan specifics.

For a small percentage of mobile superusers, I really do believe foldables are the future. Having the ability to use desktop mode by default, or multitask, is huge.

I read that book, and my recommendation is to skip the third act, which is painfully repetitive.

In fact, coming from a finance background, I didn't find the book in general to be particularly insightful, and much more ragebait / policy oriented (which makes sense given the author was a DOJ Antitrust prosecutor)

Great channel, thanks for sharing.

I'm not clear how they came to the steady state solution, or how it is memorizable, or is it just intended to be brute forced at that point?

At some point long ago, I was bored and memorized a whole bunch of openings and intuitive rules, and would end up with a 90%+ win rate. Lots of fun.

My apologies, you are right, I was misled, it is not true.

Unfortunately I can no longer edit/delete my original comment.

The owner of @Sora on twitter must be really regretting turning down the $20MM buyout offer for the handle!

Super cool site design, I'll have to go back and look at all the other stories.

I didn't realize IVF was such a brutal process. 932 needles sounds like insanity, not to mention everything else. I'll carry a lot more compassion for those going through IVF going forward, and a lot more excitement for those able to concieve naturally.

Reading through these comments, I really miss Reddit's old default homepage.

Sure, you could have your own curated feed, but there was also r/all and everyone seemed to use it, so everyone saw relatively the same thing.

It would sadly never work today, but it was great back then.

Yeah, this is too much nonsense for me.

If a waiter is comping something in exchange for a higher tip, that's not generosity or goodwill at all, it's a dishonest scam.

I will tip what I want to tip (often 0) without remorse and move on with my life.

Unfortunately this cancerous American system leeched into Canada, but we can still stop it, one $0 tip at a time.

I admire Quebec's taxpayer funded (or subsidized?) daycare. The GDP impact really speaks for itself. I hope that comes to the rest of Canada (and does not get abused)

My personal story echos the author. Parents immigrated here under the skilled worker visa and worked hard to shield me from our poverty.

Despite this, like the author, I was able to have an incredibly well rounded childhood full of activities through our recreation centers, a short 10 minute walk from my home (not so short in the winter!)

There are many times I look with frustration at the payroll taxes I incur paying my colleagues. Articles like this serve as a great reminder that my capabilities are not innate, but built through the sweat and tears of those before me.

I love Canada, and though I have had the incredible privilege to visit (and for short periods, live in!) many countries and every continent, there's nowhere I'd rather call home, nowhere I'd rather contribute to.

Canada may have a "go for bronze" attitude, but it doesn't have to stay that way. We can decide to go for gold, one day at a time.

Not a "gotcha"

There's obviously a massive difference between using sockpuppet accounts to:

* Influence perception on a social media platform as a 3rd party

vs.

* Put content on a social media platform that users are looking for so they return to the platform

It doesn't matter who shares a story with you on social media if the goal is to entertain, but it does matter if the goal is to get you to do something [spend money on their courses]

I remember this company from the very beginning. I was very confused by them, but just the other day they sent an email saying they had hit $100MM ARR and $125MM run rate.

Who is paying? No clue, must be big in China.

I skipped going to their hackathon :')
