What makes this fast?

You’d pay someone $100k a year to write a little JavaScript that generates a few random words? You wouldn’t be in business long.

You can choose to get paid with money or choose “payment by other means” which is what open source licenses extract from the people who use the code.

Asking for one then petulantly demanding the other is childish.

Seems more like they built an application which violated the App Store rules from the beginning and now want an exception carved out for them “because Linux” or something. Emulating a whole system that itself follows none of the apple walled garden restrictions is a recipe for failure.

Use for sleep is off label but some psychiatrists still do it. Don’t expect anyone to offer it as a replacement without a very good reason.

Seriously, tell your doctor. They will stop prescribing these and help you find an alternative that works and has less potential for misuse.
