I also believe there will be another drop when the apps actually are shut down. Now people are loggin in to get the last details without much hassle. I did this myself, it’s muscle memory to open Apollo and browse it, even with some subreddits closed. When the app are down… there will be the another spike, which Reddit has to overcome. At that moment I will most probably also shut down.

Whenever I put a google search down, and see one page of Pinterest on there I immediately go back to the search box and go for; “-site:pinterest.*”. I absolutely hate that site with a passion.

If you're a history geek you should definitly check out Dan Carlin's Hardcore History. This year he only made 2 episodes. 'Supernova in the east' II & III. At a whopping 4 hours each these feel more like an audiobook crammed with history rather than a Podcast. But I can definitly recommend them both & the complete works of him of course.

I can totally stand behind this idea. It’s way more equal than money. Every single person get 24 hours a day, but not everybody has €200 (or however high the fee may be) free at hand. Although I think there should be still an upper limit. Saying if you speed more than X there’s more consequences involved rather than time and/ or money.

I like the concept of the app! Especially how the fog view looks. However I think $17 is a bit steep for me to download the app.

One question directly arose me; ie I visited a place somewhere in Croatia now, come back to the app in 5 years, but the place in Croatia has been completely reconstructed. Will I see the state of when I was there or will it be the current state?

I’ve seen multiple version control apps pass by in recent years. However they seem to focus too heavy on one particular tool. For me as a designer I’m really looking for a version control system / app which handles multiple files from multiple software applications. On a regular day I use, Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro, and some other smaller tools as a base. If there ever could be a (local— because of the large file sizes in video) versioning system which brings them all together that would mean the world. Preferably in a nice gui application. And I know these apps have failed in the past but I think there might just be a market for it. (Instead of versioning it all in the finder / explorer myself)

Self-Crashing Cars 8 years ago

If we’re talking about the self driving cars here like mentioned in the article, the cars could go to a dealer / workshop on their own. You’ll only have to tell the car “I don’t need you for the next x hours”. So you go ahead and have the firmware updated.

Unfortunately there’s no quick fix about the current cars having the “guided” self driving principle.

Thanks for sharing what you've used to transcribe / subtitle your video's with. I've been looking for a source like this, and sounds like you're happy with their service. I'll give it a go on my next video project.

A diversified market for every distributor another platform isn't going to work. I recon people are not willing to take more than 3/5 subscriptions for watching their movies / series. And what if you want to watch that single movie, you need to go and buy that one, or do they offer a platform where you can rent / stream that one movie?

I'm familiar with Wordpress. I did set it up a couple of times, but I used a theme were i could re-do some colouring, and fonts etc. Now i've got a website, and I would like to add a CMS behind it, It could be Wordpress or another one, but the connection I can't seem to make. Build a website, then connect the HTML / CSS to Wordpress. Do you have any resources where I can look into to start making this connection?

Thanks
