That day is closer than you may think. I sometimes only have my phone with me as i can pay using only it (something like Google/Apple pay, but through my bank's app) and can unlock my front door thanks to Home Assistant. Both of those (should, I don't have one) work with a smart watch.

There are TVs, here most are Chinese white label brands, that instead of using Android TV just have a microcontroller running Android on it. In fact I've installed Android on a Raspberry pi and the experience was literally the same. There's no smart features unless you select the input to Smart TV (which i assume is some internal HDMI interface renamed to Smart TV on the UI)

Have you tried KDEconnect? I use it to share/send links from Android to Linux and vice versa with the KDEconnect browser extension.

It isn't a 1:1 alternative, but I've always thought that ESPhome would be much more accessible for the non-devs if they introduced a GUI similar to Home Assistant's automation GUI.
Some cheap(-ish), but good soldering iron suggestions: The TS-100 and its successor the TS-80 are stand alone soldering irons that only need DC power to function (the TS-80 is powered through USB-C and supports PD meaning you can power it when not at home with a power bank).
If portability isn't that important to you the (Ksger, althouh that's just one brand) T12 is a great desktop soldering station.
How fast does Google respond with your data? I know Facebook's data export took me at least a week last time I did it (back when they first announced it). Most service's email confirmation codes/links have an expiration timer that is pretty short. If Google were really malicious they would just make you wait a week, or more, until they "gather all your data" making it not possible to migrate your accounts.
What should be possible, though, is to migrate your account without access to your email. For example make the user save a special TOTP secret that will be used only for dangerous actions and not just for logging in.
USB 4.2 (later renamed to USB 3.2 gen 2 Mk. 1) comes with built in time traveling. They just keep adding features to the protocol and making it complicated.

Other than those there's subreddits like r/AskElectronics, r/electronics, r/esp8266, r/esp32 etc. Sometimes people advertise their discords there and I like to pop in and see what they offer (how I found out about the previously mentioned discord servers)
Out of all the hobbies I've had, electronics (mostly something to do with the ESP microcontrollers) is the most satisfying one once everything works as intended. While electronics knowledge is hard to learn on your own (in my case), there are tons of communities online that are more than willing to help.

That's what i meant by suggesting a bang. The bang was the equivalent of `!dictionary`, but in my native language. I guess not enough people here use DDG for it to be considered.
This is amazing. I've been using DDG mostly for the bangs and really wished there was a way to add custom bangs (I suggested them to DDG, but never got a response). This is just what i needed.
Twitch has had a few alternatives pop up from time to time (most famous would be Microsoft's Mixer) only for the site to be laughed at by Twitch's users and not given a chance. After a while the new site shuts down because it hasn't picked up momentum.
The problem is the viewers not giving the new sites a chance.... only for then complain about twitch having the streaming monopoly.
My money is on a C&D letter.
