We used a custom design by our great designer, meaning the rest of the landing page is CSS and HTML.

We used a few css libs, for the sake of helping us making it responsive, but that is all.

Agreed that the code is not very good, the idea of the animated resume was great, despite some technical issues it may have.

My first impression would be that he is a very creative professional with good designing skills. Regarding the programming I totally agree that it have a lot of flaws and lack of basic testing capabilities.

So technically what the presentation is trying to say is that you should use Angular to build Ember like framework. hahah

I personally like Angular, the Google support and the community are strong points to it. The documentation used to be hard to find, but now, specially with StackOverflow, finding what you need is easy.

* What content is evaluated in google play search? I mean you are reffering to the SEO of my application web site, or the Google Play content?

* What is the approach you usually takes to enter in "new free" or "new paid" and how long an application may remain in the "new" category? (if your approach is to marketing as you mentioned, just sai ad's :D)

Brazilian investors used to invest a much smaller amount and assume much less risk than the ones in US. Even with those big amounts and frequence in investing I still believe that there are lots of interesting statups being funded and some of them will succeed.

Also the "crunch" mentioned is nothing more than what is expected form Startups, a very risky environment where 1 out of 100 or out of a 1000 survive.

If the investors don't think this way, they won't have so large portfolios to spread their money in.

The same here. I have savings for two years also, but is hard to give up the money you earn in the dayjob and also to burn everything I accumulated during my whole life. While I'm not confortable to do that, I'll keep my dayjob while building my Startup.

There are a lot of apps in Facebook that does weight the friendships and generated images. Maybe one of them have their algorithm opened and you may use it to improve the accuracy.

Didn't liked the list, why should I have 3 smartphones (MUST have list)? In addition to it, I'd prefer to have a Kindle than Nook.

My biggest problem was not really with Evernote but with create discipline to take important notes. The only version I tried to use was the Android version, and I couldn't create value using it.

I got downvoted one time by the same reason, but getting back to the subject, I really like the feedback guys receive when "asking HN", the community is always there to help who needs, I can't see this bad environment here (maybe few guys with bad sense of humor).

My only suggestion is change how the price grows, you can add a few cents or dollars each extra user, because if I have 50 users I won't pay some more dollars to add the 51th.

Another suggestion is to reduce the price per extra user as it will growing like, the first 20 users costs 0,50 cents each the next 20 costs 35 cents each, this kind of thing.

It's just a suggestion, but the site is really very appealing to the eyes and the application looks like very intuitive.

Well, we discovered that there is no immortal here, since nobody attempted multiple times and answered the pool.

You mentioned "Data is stored on your local computer so your history remains private" what about giving the possibility to upload to the web, then I can get my browser history whenever I am. Maybe a possibility to merge browser histories would be cool also ;)

Instead of blocking the search you should let the search happens and show in some place, please create a user for have access to the features X, Y and Z, but stopping the user when they click in "run voltmeter" doesn't do a good impression.
