Thanks for the clarification. Wasn’t aware that it works with Go on Standard Gen 1.
Any ETA for Gen 2 or alpha signup?

Any plans to support the cloud endpoints with the standard env? Wondering if the new runtime would be able to be embed that. That would be only reason for me not to switch from flex env.

Cost per node per hour - $0.65; Minimum number of nodes per cluster - 3; SSD storage (GB/mo) - $0.17; HDD storage (GB/mo) (coming soon) - $0.026; Source: https://cloud.google.com/bigtable/
It looks that they are losing $2,054,794 per hour of downtime [1].

Livingston said the latest class of startups entering the program will be its most diverse ever, containing both the oldest entrepreneur the group has ever back at 57, the youngest entrepreneur they’ve funded at 17, the most female entrepreneurs they’ve ever admitted, the most foreign entrepreneurs they’ve ever admitted and, for the first time, 6 nonprofits as well as the normal mix of tech hopefuls looking to make it big.
According to this [0] article, the oldest person was 57 years old.

Tnx. It was fixed in new branch. Deployed to current one.
Whatever their reason is, I don't get why I just got downvoted. I was just a messenger who shows that petition exists.
It looks that lot of their users don't like that idea:

That's a "bait and hook" business model, just like Nespresso's: http://www.businessmodelinspiration.com/?p=55 and Gillette's: http://www.boardofinnovation.com/business-revenue-model-exam...

After fairly bad review about Tumblr's availability [1] this was something they needed to write. They had (and still have) pretty big challenges. It's not easy to scale something like that and this article confirms that.
I was thinking to add option for people like you, but I think that "I don't have domains at GoDaddy" is enough.
This guys are a great example of how to create a startup and get funding in countries like Croatia where the access to VC/angel money is limited. To start globally (when you are outside of US) is much harder then many think.
Sorry, I can't edit now. My bad. Not a native speaker :( If someone can edit it would be great.
Maybe it should be better to say working smarter which includes not wasting so much time and validate idea. I agree with your argument.
Of course you should do what people need. But it's easier when you solve someones problem and you like what you do.
Starting a lifestyle business will for sure take you a lot of energy in the coming years. There will be time when you want to give up. In those hard times things are easier if you are doing what you love. I think that choosing a niche is better if you are solving a problem in the area you have a knowledge. That could be your big asset [1]. What are your hobbies? What do you like to do?
Many niches are very saturated. That doesn't mean you should give up. If you have something that your competition didn't solve good (or at all) there is a place for you. Your competency in certain area will help you beat them. Even if you take a small fraction of their pie, probably it should be enough for your lifestyle business.
OTOH, if you are looking for non-saturated market and find it, you can ask yourself is there any money in that market? Is it worthwhile? You can find it is, but do you like that market? Do you know anything about it?
My point here is do what you love and money will come after years of hard work.

Got my first mail. It's great! Nice job. Only one thing: it will be good that links in the mail open some preview page where you click on "Connect" button. Didn't expect CCing on link click.
One thing I additionally take into account is reviews of customers on http://www.webhostingtalk.com/
Now it works for me also. It was some glitch which has continued also with saving files later.
250M of documents per engineer. Not bad at all.
I like the simplicity of things you made. It's all straight forward. Only missing things: On 3rd step of proposal there is no way to use products/services/subscriptions which are saved in catalog making catalog useless. It will be also useful to add a option to "save to catalog". On same page in dropdown for taxes add option to add tax (going on tax page before creating a proposal is not intuitive for new user).
Good job!
Hacklers - the best of both worlds.
I think that the biggest problem is that people don't know for what to use things like that. Here at HN population is smart and they will know what and how. But if you like to catch broader developer population I think it will be great to provide separate APIs for things like sentiment analysis, comment spam analysis, images or any other concrete problem solution. If you have a platform, why not to simplify all and solve someones pain.
Ofcourse, general API will also have an audience, but on this way you will separate yourself from players like Google.
