I'm working on a platform backing the existing desktop app for users to create, share, and explore lightroom presets - kinda like a package manager for photography presets.
They have a tendency to remove repos that they don't agree with ideologically.
I tried this a few months ago and didn't have any luck at all with matches. Maybe I was doing something wrong.
The team however was friendly and very responsive to feedback.
The white header/light grey body text is very hard to read against that background image.

The page seems to crash the tab after 40 seconds in Chrome Canary Version 31.0.1602.0 canary - also there's a js error after closing the signup popup.

We're building a platform and corresponding front-end clients for mobile, web, smart TVs, and set top boxes which interfaces with various cable providers/telcos' existing infrastructure and enables these companies to bring their offerings up to par in the age of Netflix and smart TVs.
We're looking for front-end developers as well as UX designers to help flesh out the existing front-end projects we have, as well as help define the direction - both visually and architecturally - of the UI going forward.
On the front-end, we're using Backbone, SVG for markup and animations on hardware-constrained set top boxes, and HTML/CSS for mobile, web, and smart TV. Alot of the front-end challenges we deal with here have to do with trying to optimize our application in order to provide a great user experience when dealing with the limited hardware capabilities of certain hardware platforms we use - we think existing TV solutions are subpar, and we aim to provide something people will enjoy using.

I think this has great potential for use in conjunction with wearable computing such as Google Glass. I'm not sure how the current interface for Glass works, but I imagine it's based on voice input and possibly some buttons on the unit itself.
Imagine wearing a smaller Leap controller on your wrist - you would be able to use gestures to control the Glass and mostly likely interact much more intuitively with your surroundings as seen through Glass.
It looks to be based on matching the location provided by your browser with the location of your phone.
I don't know whether it's a good idea or not, but it's certainly a unique concept.
I had an interview with these guys a couple of weeks ago for the front end web dev position.
The interview had been scheduled for a week at that point. After arriving, the person I was supposed to be interviewing with comes out late and tells me they already filled the position a week prior and didn't bother to tell me.
Turns out they're still hiring for that position? Lying to prospective employees isn't nice.
