BT already has a limited IPv6 rollout in progress[1], but the hardwares a big limiting factor (the early hubs definitely cannot manage it).

I take back what I said, they do use the higher end variant of exactly that cpu: I7-4980HQ although it's probably aggressively clocked and or binned.
Currently they can force you to use a docstring with types, how is that any different?

No you don't [1]. You get within a (reasonable) margin of error of full performance (assuming there are no CPU bottlenecks).
That is a 47w CPU. That is way higher than the TDP of most laptops allows for (displays, discreet GPUs, etc). The 15" MBP only has an 85W charger, which must both charge the battery and power the laptop simultaneously, how is there room for this thirsty a CPU in a MBP style chassis?
Firefox is nowhere near as big an offender as chrome. Chromes absolute disregard for me frankly offends me.
Also, programs like IntelliJ do have low power mode, which does help significantly in my experience.

Google's TPU claims to have a >10x perf/w advantage over GPUs (they state competitors, but GPUs are the defacto standard) and thats frankly more important that raw throughput at scale.
If Intel can ape Nvidia at deep learning then it is a big growth opportunity for them.
Google has implemented their own deep learning chip with no CUDA support and its serving their purposes well. Why not another industry giant, Intel?

Chargers are the other thing, I've gotten way more replacements than I should have, pretty much no questions asked. Both in and out of warranty as its a design failure not a case of normal wear and tear.
Ive had excellent support in the apple stores I've been to. Out of warranty support, people going out of their way to help, etc.

Apart from Xcode 4, its been a fairly incremental development for Xcode in my experience.
Most people do give the rift the edge, but it's not a huge difference on either side, for example the rift fits some people extremely well but those with glasses or wider faces tend to prefer the Vive. Image quality on the other hand is about tradeoffs and their value really depends on the game.
Other issues such as room scale vs seated/180 is yet another set of considerations and frankly, the Vive has the clear edge there even if you disagree as to its utility.
The 360, like the PS4, won because it was significantly cheaper than the competition. Its politics and other factors play a role but I would argue they are far less significant than price for a mass market adoption consideration (especially when the market is as price sensitive as it is (kids)).
We also have Spidermonkey and JavascriptCore, nothing has changed.
