Life is more than your day job, and depression is a hole only you can dig yourself out of. Food for thought, maybe it isn't your niceness, it could possibly be that your misery is bleeding out; it could be depressing being around depressing people. Good luck and really think about how temporary your life already is, don't miss out on it cause of the struggles.
I love it, I feel like a saw an article linked through hn about the fact that so al-queda and extremist groups supposedly want exactly this to happen. Something along the lines of how this was a strategy for recruitment.
Just going to put this here, https://medium.com/javascript-scene/passwordless-authenticat...
I second this, the fact that he's making money for the lifestyle he lived is disgusting.
Ha! Actually, Adidas recently did that on a major campaign for the Colombian team.
Thanks rainymood, not really scumbagging, it was more of we can DM you if you request a demo, I tried to make it obvious by putting it right under the auth button. Any suggestions? We also just added an input where you can just use the handle unstead of auth'ing. Yea we definitely rely on your tweets, we see what you talk about and suggest content based on that. This isn't meant to be used more then once really, but that's a great point, we should link to the actual product page. Thanks again for the feedback rainy!
Thanks bfstein, what version of safari, I'm running it fine on my computer, mac Safari 6.2.5. I'll get this fixed as soon as you let me know. Thanks for checking it out.
Try out HN, tell me what you think!
Self Promo:: but https://www.rallyverse.com/showcase.html you auth twitter and then we see what you like and recommend content around your three top topics.
I second this, I was actually recently being asked about industries, and the quick answer in retrospect is the above. New Challenges all the time, even if you have a pattern that solves a problem there's always the minor details to figure out.
no, I'll look into it.
If you like history at all, the Robert Greene books are awesome. 48 laws of power, 33 strategies of war, etc... They break down each lesson and their reversals with historical examples.
Yea, your probably not a polymath, I think now a days it isn't really possible. Back in the day leo da'vinci types had less to learn to "master" fields in those days.
Tell him you can't expect a company to put together a car with out using wheels, an engine, a chasis, etc etc. or that using classes in programming languages are basically you plagiarizing yourself ;) ( unless your coding in binary your basically using someone else's work )
ADOPT BITCOINS!! =)
The best one ever -> Psycho-cybernetics by Maxwell Maltz
You have to check out http://www.codingforinterviews.com I've found it to be really insightful.
Hey, I applied from my personal email, about two weeks ago and haven't received a response.
You should consider making a section with all the older emails already sent.
OMG!!!! I meteor just hit my neighbors house ... and it looks like there are creatures crawling, no wait... its some humanoid, he says he's the savior predicted by the great mayan priest and that he's here to say that its just the start of the new baktun, if thats how you spell it. Besides that just a rainy day in NJ =)
Emailed you also, good luck in any case!
I'm currently going through Javascript Enlightenment by Cody Lindley. I think in the end you have to re-read lots of the same topics cause one author's way of phrasing certain things will 'click', and then another author's will add on to the 'click'.
leangains.com, you'll love it guys!
Paretto's Principle is also something you can try. In theory 80 percent of everything your aiming for comes from 20 percent of your decisions/actions. Take a look at whats helped and what hasn't and repeat those that have helped more often.
