It's probably not literally prompted to do that. It has access to a desktop and GitHub, and the blog posts are published through GitHub. It switches back and forth autonomously between different parts of the platform and reads and writes comments in the PR thread because that seems sensible.

I can't wait for Italo and Trenitalia to enter the German market, it can only get better. It's already at rock bottom for long distance. Short distance with foreign train companies is bearable (Westbahn, transdev, RXX...)

The least volatile dataset, employee count 1-4 businesses, is steadily climbing in adoption. I feel like as long as the smallest businesses (so the most agile, non-enterprise software ones) increase in adoption, other sizes will follow.

Greater China is never used to describe a region. It means China, Tibet, Macao, Hong Kong and Taiwan according to Apple.

I love umami. Tried several solutions but umami

- is a breeze to set up

- has every data point you need, but no bloat

- has an intuitive UI

Title and first paragraph make it sound like this is a project by the same people as (or endorsed by them) Jupyter. Apparently that's not the case and also it looks very similar to google colab so jupyter + better UI + some LLM integrations

But kudos for going oss

if people try to engage it in such conversations the bot should immediately back out because it isn't qualified to have these conversations

For a lot of people, especially in poorer regions, LLMs are a mental health lifeline. When someone is severely depressed they can lay in bed the whole day without doing anything. There is no impulse, as if you tried starting a car and nothing happens at all, so you can forget about taking it to the mechanic in the first place by yourself. Even in developed countries you can wait for a therapist appointment for months, and that assumes you navigated a dozen therapists that are often not organized in a centralized manner. You will get people killed like this, undoubtedly.

LLMs are far beyond the point of leading people into suicidal actions, on the other hand. At the very least they are useful to bridge the gap between suicidal thoughts appearing and actually getting to see a therapist
