Actually it depends. When you're on probation period in France you can quit as well as be fired on the spot or within 2 weeks depending how long you've been hired for (don't remember the exact timeframe). Then after your probation period is over (it can last from 4 to 7 months) there is 3 month notice period on both (employer and employee) sides.
Can not thank you enough for that comment. I was looking for a local shop that could assemble a couple of prototypes for me and the quotes they provided were at least 3-4 times what macrofab shows me.
Norwegian is required for engineering positions? All the job listings are in Norwegian only.
I had lot's of fun with the simpliest one of TI's launchpads[1]. Sample code is written in a way that doesn't hide implementation details like Arduinos do. It really improved my understanding of uC.
