I think the biggest fear with using Tor, Onion Routing and the Darknet is that it was all sort of developed by the Navy. I think it provides pockets of government pretty easy access to treasure troves of data.

If you are doing everything bootable, javascript turned off, pgp, encrypted hard drive...I would imagine you would be "okay"...I am no expert. However, I have done a significant amount of research on Tor. It seems that as many here mention, the Exit Node can potentially be identified. Also, if someone was determined, had enough resources, they could also "possibly" "sort of" trace the traffic route. But this is very very hard to do (according to what ive read), and would require a vast amount of resources.

SWIM has been on Tor a few times and found it to be a neat, very useful tool, in and of itself. The ability to essentially obscure your traffic on the ClearNet (regular internet) has alot of potential uses, both good and bad. That said, if you access the DarkNet, there is alot of things on there that people should question who is putting it there. Seems like a very easy way to find people who want to access that stuff, especially if you can only access it using something like Tor. Makes it very clear who is seeking that stuff.

a few years ago Reddit was a totally differant community. I think word got out and more and more people got into it and it evolved into what it has become...i still head over there once in a while, but most of the posts are not any good anyhow...reminds me of the old DIGG

I wouldnt get dragged into this at all! Either keep them locked out and as others have said check out an attorney or look for legal advice online.

I think you may be assuming that people only check one place for a price...consumers tend to look at a few merchants. They compare the price of the product and the shipping cost from the merchants. Another item to consider, is that many shoppers also look for free coupon codes to get free shipping or 10$ off from a merchant.

What I do like about your idea is that the prices are checked via crowdsourcing.

I think your site UI could be a little fresher.

...google searches for products also show prices...on demand.

Very much dislike having to use Facebook account...lame... If users want to integrate Facebook give that option to them, but dont exclusively require a FB login...laame

UI is a little confusing and could be overwhelming for alot of folks.

However...This is a nice idea here. I have found several really great songs I had never heard of before in minutes! Perfect for people at work wanting to find new tunes.

What happens if a video that is on the popular list is deleted at some point by the source?
