How did I forget textual, thank you! It might be a good solution as I can imagine Claude Sonnet vibe coding interesting UIs with it...

Am also investigating xterm.js currently.

Anything that uses too much CSS (eg tries to 'construct' layouts with it rather than just rending text) seems a little fragile.

No CSS Club 3 years ago

There’s definitely something to be said for “hardly any CSS” websites that are brutally functional.

For example was looking at http://www.steephill.tv/ yesterday for cycling news (recently shut down sadly)

Are there any safety considerations with regards to having the power supply and other innards exposed?

Tip for avoiding them (on my Samsung TV anyway) - if you see 2 ads queued... hit back, then play again... often you get just 1 ad or even none at all on the second play

Another member of the AlpineJS fanclub here, no more jQuery, and no longer feel like I need to invest days and days learning Vue (which I never quite get round to).

We use Alpine + https://tachyons.io/ for CSS (powered by Craft CMS) on almost all our projects now.

Hmmm let's see — restrooms, people sitting outside (like the kids in the photo) or passing close to each other, even cars parked closer than 2m together with the window open. I'm sure there are more. (Edit: I'm not saying that any of these are highly likely, but I do think it's impossible to rule them out).

This has been causing me a fair bit of inconvenience at work as I quit Instagram last year (decided it was toxic) but still need to research people/trends in my design job.

Guess I'll have to create a fake profile, which in a way will have the opposite of their intended "join the community" action point.

Some stats from https://www.eea.europa.eu/themes/waste/municipal-waste/munic... which show that landfill is decreasing in popularity here in Europe:

1. The rate of municipal waste landfilling for the 32 EEA member countries fell from 49 % in 2004 to 34 % in 2014.

2. Overall, the rates of landfilling decreased in 27 out of 32 countries. Between 2004 and 2014, the largest decreases occurred in Estonia (57 percentage points), Finland (41 percentage points), Slovenia (41 percentage points) and the United Kingdom (41 percentage points).
