Exactly! When you spend billions on car infrastructure but hardly anything on rails, there will be issues.

What people don’t write clickbaity blog posts about is how in general things work very well. I’m currently sitting on a train from Nuremberg to Berlin and it takes less than three hours, it’s on time, quiet and just a good experience. This trip used to take five hours but then the high speed rail track got completed and cut the time by two hours. Wonderful!

Why is this a video? I'm not going to watch it. I will read the AI summary of the transcript though:

The video argues that AWS is dramatically overpriced and underpowered compared to cheap VPS or dedicated servers. Using Sysbench benchmarks, the creator shows that a low-cost VPS outperforms AWS EC2 and ECS by large margins (EC2 has ~20% of the VPS’s CPU performance while costing 3× more; ECS costs 6× more with only modest improvements). ECS setup is also complicated and inconsistent. Dedicated servers offer about 10× the performance of similarly priced AWS options. The conclusion: most apps don’t need cloud-scale architecture, and cloud dominance comes from marketing—not superior value or performance.

This is nuts! If this advances as fast as AI image generators have, the music industry is going to be affected. This is a crazy tool for song writing inspiration for sure.

I hate it when people use acronyms without explaining them. Not everyone knows your niche three letter acronyms.

Anyway: FSD = Full Self Driving

I thought this was incredibly impressive, although I didn’t see the 1kb file…

No, it is not fair, nor is it correct. The professional response is, that for the most part it is a matter of preference what tools you use and as long as you are proficient with them and you get the work done, it is more important that you can use tools you are comfortable with and accustomed to, because you will be faster.

Nowadays there are few differences between firefox web developer tools and chrome's tools.

IDEs can be powerful tools. To me it seems that in some programming languages they are the default, in others not so much. I don't see much IDE usage in frontend development. But it could be useful when writing TypeScript maybe?

Anyhow. You did absolutely nothing wrong.

Sure. You can also use lynx. Both browsers already solve the problem of browsing text based web sites on the command line. I am just wondering why you'd want another one, that isn't even a regular browser.
