How is it a scam? It gave me a ride to the airport for $26 bucks. I took a cab once and it cost over $50 bucks. My need some tweaks here and therem but overall its a great service for customers

That's true, but HN tends to be more liberal so you will be downvoted though.
Welp pretty much knew this would happen all along. I was hoping crypto would remain independent of banks, but nope. Not long before big banks take over crypto exchanges, develop dark pools, and manipulate it. Not much we can do now
Many eastern tibetan monks claim to be 120+ years old. Due to the nature of their lives its very hard to document birth to death. Of course people deny it because its not "on record." likely due to longevity bias that humans naturally have.
"In fact, it is not uncommon for a Tibetan monk to live to 120 years of age"
Just one of many sources its very well documented that monks live very long lives. Not sure why hes being downvoted.

I usually think the term "fake news" is a farce, but when I read stuff like this it honestly makes me wonder if it exists.
I smell a lawsuit coming. Its perfectly fine if the phones are designed to slow down as long as this information is disclosed to the customers. Intentionally misleading customers is illegal. Its probably splitting hairs, but I can easily see a law firm looking into this.
Yes, I agree to "share the cost of dinner". But I don't get the food that I ordered, and eat very little of it. And I watch others eat a lot of food without contributing to the tab. I then want to leave the dinner which is only right
For the same reason your friends will refuse to go to dinner with you if you skip on the bill.
What if you had very little choice on what was ordered for dinner? and ate almost nothing at dinner. You wouldn't want to pay right?
The European Union wants to maintain centralized power. A Country like the UK leaving weakens their authority. Meanwhile the uk wants to remain sovereign, but doesn't want to lose the benefits of the EU. Its essentially a power play. Freedom is the better choice imo
My general rule is: if the book is in Barnes & Nobles its not worth reading. If you want true enlightening from reading branch out from what everyone else reads. The best books I have ever read in my life didn't even get published. Check out Thomas Hardy: The Poor Man and the Lady. Which was rejected my 5 publishers
He only spends 20% on the actual writing, and 80% on the title. So out of an hour only 12 minutes of writing and 48 minutes of working on title. That may explain the typos
Titles are 80% of the work
If you writing fluff sure, but if your writing great content the title is less important. Good work sells itself. 90% content 10% title just my 0.02.
