I don't really try with family Fidesz members (Hungarian MAGA). I know why my relative believes what he does and I can't change that. I'm there for him as a friend, will share my conflicting views carefully but avoid getting dragged into a full on argument with emotions.

Wow! Looks great and very inspiring. Great idea to make separate components that can be connected - something like a drum machine, sequencer, maybe even a chord synthesizer? It can be constrained such that you are always diatonic, you could have a mode knob too.

Jamming with other people can be a life changing experience, and to do that as a child would be a great privilege to have.

I have watched 10+ hours of lessons on compressors and I still don't hear it. I understand most concepts but don't use much compression besides side-chaining and the built-in Ableton glue compression.

How would this work without headphones in a room? I'm guessing the noise would actually be amplified in some parts of the room.

I wouldn't be surprised if that's also via Scandinavian influence (kyrke). Some other examples are bra, barn, hus.

Quoting Brian Eno: "Whatever you now find weird, ugly, uncomfortable and nasty about a new medium will surely become its signature. CD distortion, the jitteriness of digital video, the crap sound of 8-bit - all of these will be cherished and emulated as soon as they can be avoided. It’s the sound of failure: so much modern art is the sound of things going out of control, of a medium pushing to its limits and breaking apart"

This happened to me yesterday, I don't remember the query but I remember I was quite surprised because it never happens. Turns out I misspelled a brand/product name by one letter - Funny enough, I would have wanted them to correct my query in this case.

Not for me, personally. FB without ads still has no interesting content for me. YouTube premium is the best value for my money out of all my subscriptions due to content.

On Facebook the network effect that made it cool in the beginning has now died and it will keep it from ever coming back for the same reasons it was great in the beginning. I'm very confident people I really care about will not start posting there, and they probably have the same thought process. It's just uncool.

I'm an amateur generative artist who just started minting on hic et nunc a month ago. I'm extremely sceptical and even disgusted by the big money NFTs, but minting and collecting on H=N has been a lot of fun, there is a very nice community as well.

Selling my art for ~real money for the first time has been such a motivating experience, even knowing that we are in a strong mania phase now. So I can say that I care too!

One thing to note is that hic et nunc is ran by one guy who doesn't really like to communicate and doesn't believe in paying for stuff like devops work, so I'm not sure if this will be the one site to survive on tezos. The community will eventually decide over time.

Medieval villagers were often living on the edge of subsistence. Agricultural surpluses were skimmed by the church and the feudal lords. Bad harvests, banditry, warfare and disease might decimate a village community at any time.

Dwarf Fortress has shown that this would in fact be quite exciting, but it would probably be a lot more niche.
