why was CBOR used for WebAuthn and was that a good idea?
Its worth looking at the alt text of the xkcd itself: In the 60s, Marvin Minsky assigned a couple of undergrads to spend the summer programming a computer to use a camera to identify objects in a scene. He figured they'd have the problem solved by the end of the summer. Half a century later, we're still working on it.
many proprietary protocols iterate themself out of existence, just because some of them survive does not mean its the better model. Look at the video codec space, proprietary codes have long lost and have gone the way of Real Media, Windows Media Video and many others. While H.26X which is the result of design by committee are used everywhere.
is the video available somewhere?
do you have an example of a platform that does not require a phone number for sms verification and is filled with bots? we have many that use sms verification and are infested with abusive content and bots.
How? Coal accounted for 33.3% of electricity production in 2022. Nuclear power accounted for 13.3% of German electricity supply in 2021.

on https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2196105 a comment suggests that it might only be possible if you have "unprivileged user namespaces" enabled
Some sites say your company was closed down in 2021, whats up with that? Etablissement fermé le 01-07-2021
What part makes this for developers and what are developers that don't know how to develop?
Its mostly impossible to run servers only with IPv6 since for some reason Canonical/Ubuntu decided to require IPv4 for snap, after years of not having any issues with IPv6 only deb mirrors.
Go is also basically bound to IPv4 since it depends on github to pull packages
its time to make hall of shame for software that does not allow developers to build IPv6 only going forward.
Its more like they fucked it up with some AI driven A/B testing and think they are doing the right thing but actually its just all broken now.
They used to have /ncr (no country redirect) - open that in incognito mode and you have to accept some TOS in a language based on some idea of where the IP is.
Strange time to give up on IPv6. Global availability is ~36% now and many countries it crossed 50% in 2021. If anything its time to ditch IPv4 once and for all.
What are the pros and cons compared to openmaptiles?

Why remove config options and force some UI that clearly people are not happy with? I can not type in a url without showing the most visited sites? At least let me press ctrl-l or click in the url bar and start typing before showing me helpful information, trying to enter a new URL, I really do not want to see the most common sites again and again and again and again!
Is Firefox trying to kill the long tail of the internet and get everyone to just visit the top 5 sites?
but how do you setup k8s?
AMP really has to go away, its a MITM attack on the internet. Google discontinues so many services, why is AMP not one of them yet?
Your git repo contains the dist folder even though its in .gitignore, might be good to remove that. No need to checking generated artifacts.
Why did you choose to ship the list of RSS feeds as an SQL database? This makes it hard to keep it up to date and submit pull requests with additional sources. Would it not be better to keep that info in a json file or a dict / list in a python module?
Nobody asked for spaced repetition nagging, and no way to turn it off. its so condescending and stupid of them. If you don't give users a choice, the only choice left to them is to stop using your app.
So will they pay reparations for there atrocities? I.e. pay back the "Windows tax" they forced on OEM for all those years now.
