Ask HN: Periscope for Police Bodycam?

Hello fellow hackers, I have a interesting question for everyone!

With all the hype behind Meerkat and now Periscode with live broadcasts tethered to Twitter follows and live chat, watching is pretty interesting. I have watched a few streams and every time I think: this would be amusing/powerful if we could do this for our police forces.

I know body cams have been a hot topic lately. What if the body cams were simply an iPhone or android broadcasting over something similar to Meerkat our Periscope?

What is everyone's thought on this?
