Now, I was raised in a family where good communication was never held in high regard and you can clearly see that in a way we hold conversations as a group: People often speak on top of each other and it’s completely normal to interrupt the other person just to share a random thought you just had.

Unfortunately mixes listening with judgement about interruption.

I have an interruptor friend who then lectures me about turn-taking (plus they then drone on a topic they know I loath: after telling me it is her turn!).
