There's certainly no lack of EMR software, but who's going to make sure I, the doctor, can get records from different databases and have them presented to me in the same format? No matter what hospital or office I'm in, no matter where the information is coming from, I would really like it to be presented to me, whether on a screen or on paper, in the same format. Right now the state of the farce is that every doctor spends more time learning the 9 zillion EMR systems than on the patients they treat. The frustration factor definitely leads to medical errors.

Anybody working on this?
