I'm amazed how bad DHH's takes can get and his incredible capacity of having only bad takes.

First, Chrome won the browser war fair and square by building a better surfboard for the internet.

Remember when Google force fed everyone with a nag to install Chrome on the most popular web site ever? Such a great experience… I mean.

Google's incredible work to further the web isn't an act of charity, it's of economic self-interest, and that's why it works.

That's precisely the issue here, my man.

I tend to find DDH's takes as innovatively great, but in this case I totally agree that your first quote is not true - Chrome won because Google was behind it.
