If I may split hairs a bit, I do want a smarter EV. But that should imply less hassle, not more.

It's the kind of smart that is not easy to make.

Hyundai’s next-gen infotainment system, Pleos Connect, is an Android-based system with a “smartphone-like UI.” It includes features like multi-window functions and an AI voice assistant.

... and it's clear that Hyundai is not making the kind of smart I'm talking about.

That’s why the BMW i4 is selling great. It’s the right mix of EV drivetrain and the ergonomics we have developed over more than a hundred years of automobile design, like turn signal stalks and regular door handles. Hope they don’t screw it up with their from scratch EV platform (nueue klasse)
