The review looks to be real in this case, but I believe I was victim to fake reviewers about a decade ago that destroyed my Amazon business. I had all positive reviews up until this point (about 2 years in business, 150 reviews).

A single person told me they received what they believed was a counterfeit product. I immediately refunded them and paid for shipping back to me (so I could inspect it myself).

They refused to ship it back and went to complain to Amazon and leave negative reviews. Amazon closed my account and held around $50,000 for 90 days. They told me I might not get any money back. I got it all back, but my business account was permanently banned. I just got it back about 6 months ago.

This changed the direction of my life. I built a million dollar business outside of these major platforms and ran it for almost 8 years. The industry changed and I was able to get out of that business with no debt.

Basing any business on platforms like Amazon or Ebay is horrendous. It's nice for a boost, but too many companies get drunk on the easy sales and end up losing everything when they decide one day that you are on their shit list. The worst part is that they offer almost no support and almost always side with the customer, even if they are outright scamming you.
