It started several years ago, but I realized that I'm much more sensitive to some kinds of noise that other people. An example: I'm having a conversation with a few people and a noisy car takes off. I can't keep the conversation, but when I ask the others, there are sometimes people who have not even noticed the noise.

In the middle of the night, such a noise can wake me up and I might have problems going back to sleep for hours.

That said, I feel random mild pain in my body, usually around chest when these vibrations are around. I have no problem with low frequency vibrations in music, unless it's really loud.

There is a related condition. If I'm in an area where there's a flickering light, it can cause me real trouble. That can be a damaged LED light, or some shops that intentionally put flickering lights to attract attention.

So, my questions are: Are you aware of conditions that can cause these symptoms? Is there anything I can do to improve that? Are there correlations with other conditions that you are aware of these? Is there any effort going to ban Audio and Visual pollution in Western Countries? (I currently live in Canada)

Any links or pointers to related resources or people is appreciated as well.
