It’s a job. You shouldn’t be purposefully driving yourself to the edge for a paycheck.

What an outlandish take. I can't imagine any athlete views injuries as a barometer for how far they pushed themselves. Mental health is not even in the same arena either.

What a joke! The best athletes don't push themselves to injury. They pace themselves everyday to ensure maximum availability and capacity.

There are literally devices like whoop that let athletes calibrate their health everyday so that they can detect early and not continue to deteriorate their body.
