Ask HN: Canadian working for USA firm as contractor. Rates?

I've used things like Deel in the past where they've handled things like health insurance and taxes.

I may be contracting as a full time employee without this third party service soon and I'm wondering what salary/rate I should be asking for.

I assume it's mainly a simple calculation of how much health insurance would cost me, how much CPP costs me etc.

Any tips?
