Most of this article is paid promotional bullshit, but it shouldn't be a surprise that billions of dollars being thrown at a short term pandemic surge would be an unwise investment.

Ghost kitchens are still a great idea, just not one that will support nonsensical WeWork hype and money.

Every experience I've had so far was beyond poor.

I think it makes sense for existing restaurants with a large takeout business to operate from a separate kitchen. But it needs to be a similar menu and same quality. I’m not going to pick a random pizza place because it has an Italian sounding name. I will either order from a usual place or do a bit of research before ordering something special.
