There is an interactive graph here [1]. The biggest polluters change with time. This data only goes to 2021.

It's easier to read if you adjust the slider to start somewhere around 1990.

i can't make heads or tails of that graph.

i was hoping to get something that would tell us like...who has emitted the most carbon?

and maybe who is emitting the most carbon on an annual basis today?

and then, both of those measures adjusted to be sum total, regardless of population size.

and then maybe separate out the small countries that are really just owned by other countries, so can't set their own policies.

FIAT money. Literally money printed out of nowhere, given at random for projects nobody really want or that should have failed, sucking out resources that would have instead been spent slowly in what people actually want, can afford and deserve.

Central banking is the number 1 polluter.
