Ask HN: Does your Facebook profile affect job seeking?

This question is for any profession or position. Does what you have on your facebook account at all affect who will hire you? Do potential employers have access to wall posts, photos, and friends lists?

I'm honestly just curious about how much of the information people put under "private" can get out to employers if they really want it.
