The argument on the previous version of this website effectively boils down to two points:

1. Frans Pop was heavily involved in Debian

2. The suicide took place in the same week as Debian Day

I find this very unconvincing. I don't know much about this situation, so I'm not going to say Debian is 100% innocent, but the evidence the website provides is one (irrelevant) post from a mailing list.

The previous version of the website had a number of different posts on several topics.

I don't think the website does a good job of laying out the details in a clear manner and has a definite bias, but your summary seems deeply flawed.

There are two links on the homepage to other posts: both link to posts that mention Frans Pops zero times.

Please link to me anywhere the website substantiates any allegation/claim about Frans Pops past the ones I listed with any level of evidence at all (NOT unsubstantiated speculation) - I genuinely cannot find it.

Debian has now put a redirect to a site explaining some of the background: https://www.debian.org/legal/debian-community-site

This guy got kicked out on his own fault, couldn't cope with that and went full retaliation/revenge nuclear and attacking especially those people how said "no" to him at some time, one of the reasons why he got kicked out. Only after being kicked out he went. LWN covered this story already, albeit this is 2020 and much happened (for the worse) in between : https://lwn.net/Articles/814508/

Seems like there was a lot of valid criticism on this site. Not suprising in the least they wanted it buried. Especially the whole thing about the debian leader promoting his girlfriend with no technical skills to Developer status in 2018. Having read the archive of the page was enough to make me quit using debian.
