... wearers use one or no hands to put on a pair of shoes ... a hinge built into the laceless shoe allows it to bend into an open position so the wearer can step in. The wearer then puts down their heel to close the shoe securely. To remove the shoe, the wearer presses on the heel with their opposite foot.

Pleasantly surprised that it's an analog innovation rather than IoT Velcro Straps. I'm sure the latter isn't far away though.

Also pleased there's a nearly plain black color option. I know someone who can't deal with shoelaces so smooshes the heel turning every shoe into a slip on, plus can't deal with anything but plain black or gray clothing.

Seemingly, you would think we don't need something to make us lazier, but this kind of stuff is great for people with disabilities/issues using their hands.
